PickMySanta (pickmysanta.com) is a free Secret Santa and group-maker tool. You can contact us at contact@pickmysanta.com.
The draw happens in your browser. The names, gift hints, rules, budget note, and your last draw are saved in your browser鈥檚 local storage on your own device so they鈥檙e there next time. We don鈥檛 receive them and can鈥檛 see them. You can remove them by clearing this site鈥檚 data in your browser settings.
You don鈥檛 need an account, and we don鈥檛 ask for your email address to use the tool. If you use the Text or Email buttons, your own phone or mail app opens with a prefilled message. Those messages are sent by you, not by us.
If you use the private link option, each person鈥檚 match is encoded inside the link itself, after the # symbol. Browsers don鈥檛 send that part of a link to the website when the page is requested, so our web server doesn鈥檛 receive it. Anyone who has a link can open it, so only send each person their own.
